Overeaters Anonymous

Whatever problem you may be having with food, you are welcome in Overeaters Anonymous:

  • Obsessed with food, eating or your weight
  • Thoughts about your weight affecting the way you live your life
  • Eating when you aren’t hungry, going on eating binges or avoiding eating for no apparent reason

We are not a diet club. We are a 12-step fellowship. Overeaters Anonymous is a Fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience, strength and hope, are recovering from compulsive overeating. We welcome everyone who wants to stop eating compulsively. There are no dues or fees for members; we are self-supporting through our own contributions, neither soliciting nor accepting outside donations. OA is not affiliated with any public or private organization, political movement, ideology or religious doctrine. We take no position on outside issues. Our primary purpose is to abstain from compulsive eating and to carry the message of recovery through the Twelve Steps of OA to those who still suffer.

Yoga Classes – Ben du Bernard Yoga
Yoga Class (mixed ability)

bendubernardyoga

Ben’s own words:

“I’m a Yoga Instructor and Sports Specific Yoga Coach who has been practicing all my life and teaching for over 5 years now. I have classes open to the public in Sulhamstead & Ufton Nervet Village Hall and Upper Basildon Village Hall (details on the attached flyer). All abilities are welcome including those who have never tried yoga.
My style of teaching is very mixed discipline and depends on the student(s) I have with me! I’m passionate about yoga’s ability to balance our bodies, clear our minds, work on our strength, flexibility, breath and sense of wellbeing and above all I believe we should have fun doing it!!!
From a sport perspective, I’m a lifelong amateur sportswoman and know first hand how yoga helps performance and maximizes our potential. This is the focus of the sports specific sessions.
On top of the public classes, I also teach one to one sessions here in Theale (or at the students home if there is space) for both general and sports specific yoga.”
