hello im living in morpeth northumberland at the moment.I soon will take up a possition at laithwates wines at the end of august,so i need somewhere to rent longterm or short.Im 41,single,clean and tidy,likes eating out,good wine and real ale ,village life.and trying to keep fit.A room in a shared house would be ideal.If you can help please drop me a line on thewinebloke@gmail.com thanks and cheers

Welcome Steve. Can't help with accommodation, but you'll be OK for real ale. The Crown is the current favourite but all the pubs sell some type of reasonable ale -- some more reasonable than others, but I'll leave you to decide.

On the accommodation front, I don't have anything myself, but...
There are a couple of rental places on rightmove.co.uk (One is a 2-bad bungalow in St Ives Close, and th eother a one bed apartment on Church Street)
Also, have you looked at something like uk.easyroommate.com? Currently, there looks to be a large double bedroom in a farmhouse in Theale on offer for £475 per month....
