The British Legion County Manager for Berkshire has sent the following message to Theale Parish council:
"I just wanted to say a big 'Thank you' for your support and assistance with March For Honour 2010. Thank you for arranging the tidying up of the war memorial which looked really good by the time the marchers arrived. Also, thank you for mustering such overwhelming support within Theale. The scenes in Theale with children, parents and teachers six deep in places was both amazing and humbling. Many of the marchers remarked that it was the best reception they had received anywhere along their route."
